September 2017 Candle Empties

September 2017 Home Fragrance Empties

September seriously flew by! We had visitors for a good portion of the month and went crazy finalizing wedding details. Between all of the stress I was still able to get through my entire burn list though! This month, I burned 5 candles and 11 wax melts.

September 2017 Candle Empties

Leaves (3-wick) A classic cider scent we all know and love. This year’s version burned beautifully until there was 1/3 left and then it went on the melter. At first this gave me a migraine with it’s strength but after a while the intensity faded out. Not one you’d ever need to stock up on because it returns every year without fail.
Leaves (1-wick, x2) The tester candles can really be hit or miss and in this fragrance it was a miss. They were practically unscented even when put on the melter.
Cider Lane (3-wick) A beautiful caramel apple blend that is one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunatley, the 2017 version was lighter than the past and got a funky smell when burning. When put on the melter it lasted for a couple more days and was a bit stronger.
Warm Apple Pie (1-wick) Notoriously a light scent that didn’t let me down with it’s reputation. Around the half-way point it threw around a 2 which was it’s strongest point. Great scent, would never repurchase.

September 2017 Wax Empties

Apple Butter On cold this was extremely disappointing because it smelled like an apple chap stick. When melting though it transformed and a luxurious creamy note came out making it quite enjoyable. Still not something I’d buy again though as there are other scents I like more.
Welcome – Have you ever made play-doh out of Kool Aid? Because that’s what this smells like when melting; a fruit punch DIY play-doh that’s heavy on the apple. Not what I want to be smelling at all.
Honey Crisp Cider (x2) A straight up dupe for Leaves with a hint more woodiness. A great melt to have on hand to amp up the candle!
Harvest Moon (x2) If Leaves and Cider Lane were mixed together this would be what it smelled like. When melting it was definitely heavier on the CL nuances and I wasn’t upset about it at all. Go hoard this!
Cider House Donuts – A cinnamon sugared donut scent with some apple cider spices mixed in. It was definitely on the lighter side being a year old but still delicious while it lasted.
Apple Cider Donut – Compared to the Scentsationals version, this smelled much more realistic but was heavier on the cinnamon. After the scent was gone, you could still get whiffs of bakery cinnamon for a few more hours.
Caramel Applewood – Goose Creek’s version of Cider Lane that was very nice to melt alongside the candle. I probably won’t pick up anymore of these in the future though because I’m not a fan of the soft wax formula.
Apple S’mores – This is Scenty’s dupe for Radiant Red Maple that you’ve heard me talk about non-stop this month. Two cubes last 2-3 days and I am so happy I stocked up before they discontinued this scent!
Warm Apple Pie – An absolutely divine pie fragrance that is heavier on the crust note than the filling which I am totally okay with! I will buy this as long as Wal-Mart carried it.

September 2017 Fragrance Empties

Lakeside Sunrise (wallflower) My fiancé is obsessed with this fragrance but I’ve never been able to smell it. However, this wallflower really surprised me. It was fairly strong and I got whiffs of it all month long!
Leaves (wallflower) For a scent that is know to be extremely strong and induce migraines, the wallflower is so light it’s practicallyundetectable. It’s really unfortunate and I hope BBW eventually works on the formula in this form.
Cider Lane (wallflower) This form of Cider Lane was INCREDIBLE! The apple note wasn’t very prominent, but the unique caramel and vanilla blend was strong. If you’ve ever been to Mystic Village in CT this is exactly what the general store smells like. Highly recommend and I have stocked up like a mad woman!
Leaves (hand soap) Let’s be real here, this soap smells nothing like the iconic Leaves candle. That is until you are actually washing your hands. It’s odd that the scent activates at a certain point and I’m assuming that’s why it wasn’t brought back again this year.

The fall months are more about enjoyment rather than quantity when it comes to candles for me. I have an internal battle of wanting to downsize my stash but don’t want to burn through my favorite scents too fast! However, if I thought September went by fast, October is definitely going to go by in the blink of an eye with all of our upcoming plans. Stay tuned for more details!

Fall Fun Series | Sweater Weather

Fall Fun Series | Sweater Weather | Autumn Fashion

With Autumn officially upon us, it’s time to bundle up because it’s starting to get chilly out there! In my area it’s definitely sweater weather and I just love it so much. Today we’re going to forgo any talk about candles and instead focus on some of my favorite fall fashion trends!

As the temperature drops I always seem to gravitate towards the same items which I consider to be my fall staples. First, we of course have cozy sweaters and flannels in every warm color you can imagine. Then we have riding boots in multiple colors to compliment any outfit and to keep your legs toasty. We also can’t forget accessories such as scarves and fuzzy socks to finish off any look!

Fall Fun Series | Sweater Weather | Autumn Fashion Essentials

Now that you’ve seen some of my personal fashion favorites, it’s time to give you a quick glimpse of some of my OOTD’s using these pieces. I usually dress up my sweaters with a chunky necklace and some sort of booties to go for that casual chic look. If it’s really cold outside, usually in the morning, it’s always great to have a go-to jacket. My hunter green one is the perfect weight for fall and has the cutest gold accents. My personal style is definitely more about comfort though which is pretty obvious by my last outfit. I am sort of a graphic tee hoarder and love pairing them with cute plaids!

Fall Fun Series | Sweater Weather | Autumn OOTD

While I have many reasons to adore Autumn, the comfy clothing makes it even more special. There’s nothing better than putting an extra-large sweater on, lighting a candle, and cuddling up with a book. I may not be the most fashionable but I like to think I have a decent style, even if it is super casual!

Fall 2017 Candle & Wax Collection

Fall 2017 Candle & Wax Collection

It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year! Fall is upon us and even though I’ve been celebrating it for a month, I now don’t have to feel guilty about it. In honor of my absolute favorite season, I thought I would share my entire Autumn candle and wax collection with you all!

Fall 2017 Wax Melt Collection

Let’s start out with my Fall wax stash. All together I have 47 clamshells ready to be melted. Granted 16 of those wax melts are Scenty’s Apple S’mores but that is due to them discontinuing the fragrance. Aside from those, would you believe I only had about 12 other Autumnal wax melts prior to this August? When Wal-Mart releases their new collections I tend to go a little crazy.

Moving on to the entirety of my Bath & Body Works collection, I only have 8 mini candles tucked away. I’ll probably try to burn these versions of Pumpkin Pie before moving on to my 3-wicks since it did not return this year. On the other hand I’ll probably never burn Spiced Pumpkin Cider from 2013. I really wish BBW still carried these miniature guys alongside all their scents rather than just the Halloween line.

Fall 2017 Bath & Body Works Mini Candle Collection

Fall 2017 Bath & Body Works Tester Candle Collection

Next up, I have 9 tester candles from Bath & Body Works. These are the medium jars that you sniff when deciding on which wallflowers to pick up. You normally can’t purchase these until SAS and even then it’s hit or miss. If you are able to get your hands on these, sometimes they’ll throw even better than a 3-wick while other times they’re practically unscented. I typically just use these to amp up whatever else I’m burning.

Now, what you’ve all been waiting for – the entirety of my fall large jar collection! All together I (only) have 20, 3-wick candles from Bath & Body Works. Out of these 20 candles, there are only 9 individual fragrances. It comes down to me knowing exactly what I like, being a seasonal burner, and certain candles bringing me nostalgia. Not only that, but several of these candles seem to return almost every year so I don’t necessarily hoard them. Except Cider Lane, obviously. Traditionally I burn apple fragrances in September, pumpkin in October, and November tends to be a transitional month.

Fall 2017 Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candle Collection

Judging by my entire candle & wax collection, it’s pretty obvious Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I know exactly what I want to burn at every point in the season and look forward to it the rest of the year. While some might see this as excessive, I see this as a practical hobby. It’s also pretty great when someone enters my home and the first thing they say to me is that “it smells so good in here!” Happy fall everyone and enjoy it while it lasts!

Fall Fun Series | All About Apple

Fall Fun Series | All About Apples

In case you missed it in my most recent burn list, I’m dedicating the entire month of September to apple everything! When I think of the start of Fall my mind immediately goes to orchards, cider, apple crisp, and my favorite candles. It didn’t occur to me until last year how much I actually loved apples until I had a look at my stash and there were significantly less pumpkin fragrances. In honor of this lovely autumnal fruit, I’m going to be sharing my all-time favorite apple items with you!

Fall Fun Series | All About Apples | Favorite Apple Candles

My top 3 apple scented candles all come from Bath & Body Works; Leaves, Cider Lane, and Radiant Red Maple. I always start off September with Leaves which smells like a honeyed apple cider. Then I move onto the deliciously sweet caramel apple fragrance, Cider Lane. I unfortunately only have one more Radiant Red Maple in my collection and refuse to burn it since BBW hasn’t brought it back, but it’s a lovely blend of apples and marshmallow.

Fall Fun Series | All About Apples | Favorite Apple Wax Melts

I always enjoy amping up my candles with corresponding wax melts and these 3 just happen to be my favorites when it comes to apples. Apple S’mores is an exact dupe for Radiant Red Maple so I luckily can still enjoy the scent. Unfortunately Scentsy just retired this but if you can somehow still get your hands on it, do it! A great dupe for Cider Lane that’s available all year is Goose Creek’s Caramel Applewood. Finally, ScentSationals Warm Apple Pie is an amazing bakery scent with undertones of apple that’s absolutely divine.

Fall Fun Series | All About Apples | Favorite Apple Body Care

The only apple scented body care I’ve ever enjoyed was released from Bath & Body Works last year. Don’t let the name Pumpkin Apple Cider fool you. It’s a straight up mix of apple cider and apple pie that is absolutely incredible. I’m so sad I only have one body cream left and might just head on over to Ebay for some more, it’s that good!

If you live in New England or have ever visited in the fall, you’ll understand why I’m a bit addicted to apple scents. Everything I’ve shared today just embodies Autumn in my area. These scents bring me back to apple picking on a crisp day and the aroma of sweet treats at my local art festival. In my opinion, there’s honestly nothing better than these holy grail apple fragrances of mine! 😉

Fall Fun Series | What Fall Means to Me

Fall Fun | What Fall Means to Me

My admiration for Autumn is more than the just apple scents, cozy fashion, and pumpkin coffee. It is my favorite season because of the memories that come along with it. Fall is when my fiancé and I began dating six years ago. It’s when I started reading Harry Potter and fell in love with the magic. It also brings back the feeling of being totally relaxed with the screen door open and a candle burning for the first time. Throughout the year when I crave the feeling of fall, this is what I’m usually envisioning.

Fall Fun | What Fall Means to Me

While I have so many fond Autumn memories, there is one that I will always treasure. In October 2012, my niece Lilly had recently turned 1 and just started walking. I went to visit for the weekend and as soon as I saw her, she ran up to me for the first time and gave me the biggest hug. That little voluntary act was filled with so much love and I’ve always held it close to my heart. We spent the rest of that weekend playing in the leaves and going to a pumpkin patch.

Fall Fun | What Fall Means to Me

Fall certainly is my favorite time of year to burn candles but it’s also so much more than that. I can’t wait to get married next month just to have one more reason to love this season!

Why Does Bath & Body Works Retire Their Best Scents?

Raspberry Peach Macaron - Bath & Body Works Retired Candle

I FINALLY CAVED. I went on Ebay and purchased one of my favorite rare candles that Bath & Body Works never brought back. Being someone who has never purchased a candle at full price, it actually hurt spending more than I ever normally would. But, when you see a decent price for 2 mason jars of Raspberry Peach Macaron you don’t think twice as you hit ‘place order’.

This shopping experience really got me thinking, why does Bath & Body Works seem to retire all of their best scents? For example, here are just a few fan favorites:

Pink Petal Teacake
Radiant Red Maple
Raspberry Peach Macaron
Strawberry Rhubarb Marmalade
Winter Garland
Cider Donut
Cranberry Pumpkin

Go on Ebay or Mercari and you will see these fragrances selling for an obscene amount of money. If Bath & Body Works did any sort of research they’d realize if these scents were brought back to the market they’d make a great deal of money for their corporation. Sales couldn’t have been that bad when these candles were initially brought to market if there’s this big of a fan following.

So why doesn’t Bath & Body Works return all of these favorable fragrances? Here are a few of my theories.

1. Forgotten Formula

I feel like Raspberry Peach Macaron is a prime example of this. The wax community has never been able to find a dupe for this fragrance from any other wax vendors. Is this scent so unique that no one can duplicate it, including the original source? I’ve heard of breweries not writing down their brew formulas and never being able to replicate it, so maybe it’s the same when it comes to our favorite candles.

Raspberry Peach Macaron - Bath & Body Works Retired Candle

2. Formula Issues

Again, Raspberry Peach Macaron is another prime example for this theory. Anyone selling this 2014 candle online states that there is crystallization in the wax. Consumers have called corporate regarding this issue and were ensured that ‘this was an ongoing problem for this specific scent and it wouldn’t effect the overall burning experience.’ Maybe the company wanted to bring this fragrance back but just couldn’t solve the wax crystallization issue. However, I haven’t heard of this happening to any other candles.

3. Collection Size

It’s no secret that Bath & Body Works always brings back it’s returning “favorites” each season in multiple collections. Maybe they are well aware that we want the other scents to come back too but know that Marshmallow Fireside, Leaves, etc are better sellers. Having been involved with the process of creating lines of products before, I know higher ups give marketers a specific number of slots to fill with products. It could really be as simple as this; BBW looking at their sales and not having the shelf space or sku’s available for our other rare favorites.

These theories of mine may not be correct at all or maybe it’s a mixture of the three. No matter the reason, it would be nice to see some of the best scents from the past several years brought back again. Even if it’s just one more time in a ‘Fan Favorites’ collection! Or it would be nice if they rotated our their retuning favorites each year. Hopefully one day Bath & Body Works will listen to us and we will be able to get our hands on these fragrances again at a decent price!

Fall Fun Series | Festive Fall Tag

Fall Fun Series: All About Autumn | Festive Fall Tag
  1. Hi, melters! I’m super excited to announce that for the next few months I will be participating in a blogging series all about Autumn alongside a group of lovely ladies. When Jay from The Candle Enthusiast approached me about this opportunity I was absolutely thrilled! All together there are six of us who will be sharing our love for the fall season in themed posts every Saturday morning through the month of November. Before we dive into the first post, I wanted to introduce you to the other bloggers and encourage you to check out all of their posts as well!

Amanda at Thrifty Polished
Angela at Angela Kay
Jay at The Candle Enthusiast
Julie at The Redolent Mermaid
Sandra at Finger Candy

  1. Fall is such an atmospheric time of year and we all have different reasons to adore the season making this tag the perfect introduction to the series!

1. Have you ever participated in a fall blogging series? What are you most looking forward to this fall?

I do have another lifestyle blog where I’ve posted about fall-related things in the past, but never have I been part of an actual series. This fall I’m looking forward to getting married after being engaged for two years!

  1. 2. Crisp fall mornings or cozy fall nights?

That’s like asking me to choose between pumpkin spice coffee and curling up with a good book! I love both but if I HAD to pick it would be cozy fall nights.

  1. 3. When do you start decorating for fall?

I try to wait until September 1st but sometimes it’s too difficult to hold off! Like this year. My house has been decked out in autumn everything for the past week.

  1. 4. What is your favorite store to visit for fall goodies?

For decor I love visiting Hobby Lobby and for candle related items, Bath & Body Works.

  1. 5. If you had to get one fall-themed image tattooed on your body, what would it be? For extra points, where?

Believe it or not, I’m seriously considering getting a pumpkin tattoo. But it’s not as basic as you’re thinking! Being a graphic designer, I illustrated our wedding “logo” for our collateral and it’s two pumpkins connected by a heart shaped vine. This would symbolize so much more than my love for fall but I have no clue where to get it! Suggestions welcome 🙂

Fall Series - Wedding Logo

  1. 6. Did you trick-or-treat when you were younger? What was the last costume you wore? What’s your dream costume (whether you actually got to wear it or not)?

I loved trick-or-treatnig so much as a kid I didn’t stop until I went to college, lol! Last year was the first time I’ve dressed up since then for a party though and I actually got to wear my dream constume – Hermione Granger.

  1. 7. Favorite fall home fragrance?

Being a candle addict, I obviously can’t choose just one. My favorite apple scents are Leaves, Cider Lane, and Radiant Red Maple. My favorite pumpkin scents are Pumpkin Spiced Cheesecake and Pumpkin Pie.

  1. 8. Best body care fragrance for fall?

My all-time favorite fall body care fragrance is Cozy Sunday Morning (Soft Chamomile & Bergamot) from BBW. They’ve of course never brought it back since it’s original 2015 release but thankfully I have some sprays still in my stash. If anyone has a dupe for that PLEASE let me know!

  1. 9. Must-have nail polish/perfume/makeup for the fall?

I’m not the biggest makeup/perfume fan but I do always need to have a deep red nail polish in my collection. My current favorite is Berry Naughty from Essie!

  1. 10. Favorite fall month?

October! That’s when we finally see foliage in my area, have ideal sweater weather, and see spooky Halloween decorations everywhere.

Fall Foliage

  1. 11. What’s the weather like where you live?

In Rhode Island, it’s currently still warm out but once it cools down later in the month it’s perfection.

  1. 12. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

Please don’t hate me for saying this, the answer is no. While I am obsessed with pumpkin flavoring, I don’t think it should have the hype it does. Pumpkin spice coffee from Dunkin? Yes please! Pumpkin spice gum? No thanks. Pumpkin spice M&M’s? Amazing! Pumpkin spice peanut butter? Yuck.

  1. 13. Favorite Thanksgiving food?

It’s a toss up between cranberry sauce, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Can you tell I’m hungry?

  1. 14. Briefly describe your idea of a perfect fall day.

Wake up and have an iced pumpkin spice coffee (extra sugar, extra pumpkin – I’m weird, I know). Take a trip to a local farm and go apple picking. Do some baking with said apples once we get home. Then, finish off the day by opening up the windows and lighting a candle.

Hopefully you enjoyed learning a little more about me other than my usual candle picks. Don’t forget to check out the other girl’s posts too and special thanks to Sandra for our series photo!

I’d love to hear what your answers are to these questions – either write them directly in the comments or post a link to your own blog post!

Burn List – September 2017

Burn List - September 2017

In my house, September means FALL IS HERE! I know the autumnal season doesn’t technically start until the 22nd but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating it as early as possible. Of course the only fragrance I’ll be focusing on this month is apple.

CANDLES

Leaves – “Crisp Red Apple, Golden Nectar, Warm Clove Spice”
Cider Lane – “Warm Caramel, Granny Smith Apple, Dark Brown Sugar, Ground Clove”
Warm Apple Pie – “Baked Granny Smith Apple, Melted Brown Sugar, Flaky Homemade Crust”

WAX MELTS

Honey Crisp Cider – A mixture of fall spices and freshly made cider
Apple Butter – Fresh picked apples and creamy butter
Welcome – “Spiced apples and pumpkins”
Harvest Moon – “Pumpkin kisses & Autumn wishes”
Caramel Applewood – “Cooler weather is on the horizon and a caramel drenched apple is all you will need.”
Apple S’mores – “Harvest apples, cinnamon glaze and a drop of coconut milk lend a tantalizing twist to classic toasted marshmallow, vanilla crème and warm cedarwood.”
Apple Cider Donut – “Cider and Sugary Pastry”
Cider House Donuts – A blend of sugared donuts with apple cider glaze
Warm Apple Pie – Buttery pie crust with hints of baked apple

I look forward to September every year so I can melt these scents so I’m beyond excited to get started! I really wish I had a back up of Radiant Red Maple so I could burn that too but will just have to settle for it’s Scentsy dupe. Don’t be surprised if in my empties later this month you see multiples of several of these apple fragrances!

August 2017 Candle Empties

August 2017 Candle Empties

August has come and gone in the blink of an eye! I didn’t get to burn all the candles I had hoped to this month (mainly because Yankee’s take forever to get through) but am happy with what I did melt. This August I burned a total of 5 candles and 8 wax melts.

Berry Waffle Cone (3-wick) The best way to describe this delicious scent is by comparing it to a berry scone. It’s absolutely divine and I really hope you were able to get your hands on it! It threw around a 7 in my high-ceiling kitchen and lasted for almost a week on the candle melter.
Funnel Cake (1-wick) This scent smelled exactly like a greasy, buttery pastry with a hint of powdered sugar. Burning it was unscented but threw around a 6 on the candle melter. I’m assuming that’s why BBW only made this into a wallflower last year?
Pumpkin Banana Muffin (3-wick) Don’t let the title fool you, there is no pumpkin in this candle. This is actually a dupe for Banana Nutmeg Bread Pudding from 2013. In this updated version there is definitely equal parts banana and walnut which for some reason made the fragrance smell like burnt bread at times. Unfortunately the candle only threw around a 5 and didn’t improve on the wax melter.
Summer Boardwalk (3-wick) – This was the weakest version of SB I’ve ever had. Most people get migraines from it’s strength and I could hardly smell it until putting it on the candle melter. Still a favorite fragrance of mine but the 2016 summer edition was a dud.
Sparkling Pear Riesling (1-wick) If you are a fan of Champagne Toast, this is essentially the fall version of it! Take out the citrus and replace it with pear and this is what you get. It’s a beautiful scent that BBW should’ve brought back. Also, this small jar was SO strong!

August 2017 Wax Empties

Sweet Plum Pastry – There are people who go crazy over this Scentsy fragrance and I’m not one of them. I don’t really get any bakery or sweet notes, just a dark berry and cinnamon. Maybe I got a dud? Either way I didn’t particularly enjoy this and am not too upset that it’s no longer available.
Corpsman (x2) If you follow me on Instagram, you know that this is now my all-time favorite fragrance! After the first 5 minutes of melting it for the first time, I immediately went and ordered several backups. This truly smells like graham crackers, buttery pie crust, and slightly savory zucchini bread mixed together. I never want to be without this!
Sweet Banana Bread – Now this was an amazing banana fragrance! There seemed to be more of a caramel note than banana but I didn’t mind at all. I might pick up another melt in this if I place another Goose Creek order again.
Banner – On cold I thought this was just a dupe for Summer Boardwalk, but it transformed when melting. The caramel note overpowers everything else and I really wasn’t a fan.
At the Fair – This is 100% a dupe for Summer Boardwalk, but better. The apple fritter note comes out so much more than the caramel corn in this version and I am obsessed with it. Why didn’t Wal-Mart release this again?! Thank goodness I still have a few stashed away.
Whipped Vanilla Pear – A pretty light pear fragrance from Scentsy with perfumey vanilla mixed in. Wasn’t the biggest fan and wouldn’t recommend.
Casting Spells – Another scent that smells completely different when melting. On cold it’s an interesting pear blend but smells like sweet potatoes warm. It’s very odd and I wasn’t impressed.

August 2017 Fragrance Empties

Pineapple Colada (hand soap) If you’re looking for a straight up pineapple soap scent, look no further. It was a nice summer fragrance that was very potent but unfortunately I’m just not that into pineapple scents.
Crisp Morning Air (hand soap) This may be one of my favorite fall soap scents ever! Think of walking around on a crisp fall day in an apple orchard and this is what you get; it’s fresh and slightly fruity. Hands down would repurchase if I didn’t already have back-ups!
Sea Island Cotton (body wash) This form of my favorite soap scent was just as amazing and lingered. I need to forever have back-ups of this fresh fragrance!
Summer Marshmallow (body cream) Even though this body cream from last summer has lost some of it’s peanut butter sugar vibes over time, it’s still one of my favorite body care scents ever! It’s a beautiful salty & sweet blend that I went through in 3 short weeks! Would forever repurchase and luckily have a decent stash still.
Crisp Morning Air (hand cream) I’m so sad to have finished this as it’s an incredibly unique fresh apple scent that BBW didn’t bring back in this form for this year.
Eucalyptus Spearmint (wallflower, x2) These wallflowers were really strong for the first few days and then pretty much non-existent as the oil quickly discolored. While I could smell them I wasn’t really a fan and wouldn’t recommend.
Summer Boardwalk (wallflower) A strong wallflower for a couple weeks but not too overpowering. After a while though the oil darkened, stopped evaporating, and started to smell like Pumpkin Caramel Latte.

My home definitely smelled wonderful this month and there were even several times I was complimented when people immediately came through my door. My absolute favorites of the month were Berry Waffle Cone and Corpsman! I seriously could’ve melted just those 2 fragrances throughout the month but didn’t want to totally deplete my stash. While I’m sad the month went by so quick, I’m so happy for fall scents to finally fill my space again in September!

Burn List – August 2017

Burn List - August 2017

August is here which means it’s a transition month for me! The majority of my candle/wax collection is dedicated to warmer bakery fragrances that I typically burn from August-February. I can’t believe I’m already pulling out these scents but am so excited! This month I’m going to be focusing on warmer fruity combinations that still give off a summer vibe.

CANDLES

• Berry Waffle Cone – “Sweet summer berries, golden waffle cone, creamy vanilla”
• Funnel Cake – “Golden swirls of buttery pastry dusted with white powdered sugar”
• Pumpkin Banana Muffin – “Caramelized banana, pumpkin puree, walnut, cinnamon sugar”
• Summer Boardwalk – “Caramel-glazed popcorn, warm taffy-apples and salted, sweet cream”
• White Chocolate Apple – “A juicy, just-picked apple with a crisp coating of luscious white chocolate”
• Sparkling Pear Riesling – “California pears, riesling grapes, honeyed oak”

WAX MELTS

• Corpsman – “Graham crackers, pie crust and creamy zucchini bread”
• Sweet Plum Pastry – “Black plum and toasted coconut garnish a marshmallow cloud”
• Sweet Banana Bread – “Bananas, sugared pralines and buttered pecans folds into a sweet mix of whipped honey, caramel swirl, cinnamon and brown sugar.”
• At The Fair – Spiced caramel corn mixed with cider apple fritters
• Banner – “Warm buttery cornbread topped with creamy mac apple ice cream and brown sugar”
• Casting Spells – “A bewitching blend of apple drizzle, roasted pears and cinnamon bark”
• Whipped Vanilla Pear – “A luxuriant caramel glaze tops baked pear and whipped vanilla”

It’s pretty obvious that these are the types of fragrances that I truly enjoy and stock up on; I have corresponding melts that pair with each candle! Between the berry, banana, and fair food scents I know this is going to be a great month. If I have additional time I’ll also be burning Paradise Spice from YC too. I have no doubt that I’ll get through this list and am off to go light up my first candle pick!
